Chocolate Chip Muffins

Let's just call them muffins so we can eat them for breakfast. I made these this morning and they are rich and yummy-could be a great dessert.
2 cups all purpose flour
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Combine all in large bowl and set aside.
In small bowl, combine:
1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup half n half (if you don't have this, just use 2/3 c milk)
1/2 cup butter melted
2 eggs slightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
Make a well or basically dig out a hole in the dry ingredients. Pour in wet ingredients plus 1 cup chocolate chips and half cup chopped pecans (nuts are optional). Mix just until all ingredients are combined. Fill 12 muffin cups with liners and spray gently. Fill and bake at 400 for 15-20 minutes. I have dark pans and a fast oven, so I set mine to 380 and cooked for 19 minutes. Just watch them and use a cake tester to check for doneness. Let cool for a few minutes. Eat and lick lips!
