New Concrete Barn Pad & some pics

I used my daughter's camera this morning after I sowed seed, to take pictures of our new 48X52 ft.concrete barn floor. I will be so glad when there is a barn standing on it. It will have an apartment in it with a full bath. Two stories of space for my husband's tools and projects. This view shows part of our backyard. The rocks are huge that we had to lay down for the base of the driveway. Not fun to rake or move. I also included the pictures of my charm pack that I am working on and my daughter's embroidery project that I finally turned into a pillow. Random grouping but cute stuff!

Speaking of stitches

I finished my sashiko embroidery square and would love to try a design on the edge of a pillowcase next. I think that would make a very nice wedding gift. I was browsing around this evening at Burdastyle.com and found a great link to tons of embroidery stitches. Stitching cards for Holidays

I get a really neat embroidery newsletter each month and the "Find of the Month" for November was a great pattern for stitching on a card.  This holly wreath pattern is all straight lines, so it appears pretty simple.  The instruction page looks a little confusing at first, but when you read through the details it helps simplify things.
